Mum and Tuk

Artension has been a schools arts provider since 1993.

From single class workshops to whole school projects, in music, dance, drama, art, history and culture.

Stephen Rowley is a trained practioner for the Lead Creative Schools scheme run by the Arts Council for Wales.

In 2019 he devised a project using the arts to promote creativity in mathematics in secondary schools.  This project evolved into a game based on the WWII Battle of the Atlantic involving cryptography and air/sea navigation.  Challenges were set by video.

Artension is constantly working with schools to devise new activities that engage the pupils and help to deliver and enrich the curriculum.
